WHAT WE DO
Patana Development Bank (PDB) is a student lead CAS Project which aims to raise funds to provide microfinance loans to those in need around South East Asia. Founded by a group of 6 Bangkok Patana International School students, this project works alongside an international charity organisation called "KIVA" which helps us facilitate and track the loans.
As Identified by the UN, the issues of poverty, hunger, inequality and lack of education need to be addressed. Underprivileged citizens in remote locations cannot approach banks for loans. They are unable to receive finances to run their businesses and sustain their family needs.
We are a non-profit organization which strives to provide loans to those unable to secure financing while transforming poorer Asian communities as a catalyst for change.
We strive to provide communities across Asia who lack access to financing with loans to uplift themselves out of poverty
